Meet the people behind Eden Valley Trails

I'm a Utah native with a passion for the outdoors! I earned degrees in Automotive Repair and Chemistry from WSU and CSU. My wife and I have raised two children in the Ogden Valley since 2002, and it's become our forever home.

For the past 20 years, I've dedicated myself to building trails around Ogden Valley. I helped create almost 7 miles of the Pineview Loop Pathway. At North Fork Park I helped build Connector, Cinch, TMF, Long Loop, Traidemic, Pipeline, Spork and Trail 365.

In the winter, I switch gears and become passionate about grooming the snow at Ogden Nordic. There's something magical about creating smooth (corduroy) trails for skiers and fat bikers!

As the Executive Director of Eden Valley Trails, I'm committed to making our valley a haven for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. My dream is to have a dedicated, car-free pathway around Pineview Reservoir for road cycling and a complete trail system for mountain biking throughout the valley.

I was born in Ogden and grew up in Salt Lake and Bountiful. I played ice hockey in high school, and afterwards went to college in California, and finished an engineering degree in Utah. I've worked 30 years in the aerospace industry in Michigan, Arizona and Utah, and for the last 20 years for the Air Force at Hill Air Force Base. My job is to keep the T-38 flying well past its original design life. We have five children, and our sixth grandchild was born the first week of November.

I've always loved the outdoors. I really love biking. When people ask what kind of biking I like best I usually say I like road biking, but I love mountain biking. Fat biking in the snow on the groomed trails at North Fork has become my favorite winter activity over the last few years. I've had a great experience building trails at North Fork over the past five years, first with volunteer events, and eventually working on the design and construction. I want to continue that with the mission of Eden Valley Trails throughout Ogden Valley.

Steph was raised here in Eden and after a few moves around the state, is happy to be able to call it home again. Steph has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Utah State and has been an endurance coach for 12 years. She coaches cyclists, mountain bikers, triathletes, and runners and is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals. Although Steph started out as a roadie and a road runner (not the bird), her true love is being out on the trails. Steph is a certified mountain bike instructor and is excited about the vision of improving and increasing trails around the valley for all levels of trail users. She loves helping people push their limits and enjoy all that nature has to offer by foot or on 2 wheels! Whether she’s running, biking, or volunteering,  the mountains and trails are her happy place and she is stoked to be able to be a part of the Eden Valley Trails foundation

Bryce Dipoma isn't your average operator. Dirt has been his playground since childhood, when he saved up to buy a shovel and transform the vacant lot next to his house.

For 20 years, he channeled his passion into landscaping, before finally unearthing his true calling: building trails. At Eden Valley Trails, Bryce wields the mini-ex like an artist's brush, his skill and precision evident in the flowy lines of Spork, a North Fork Park trail he proudly designed and built.

An avid mountain biker himself, Bryce isn't just building trails, he's crafting experiences. He devours trail design knowledge, constantly seeking ways to improve the riding experience for everyone. Whether it's sculpting perfect berms or ensuring proper drainage, Bryce's dedication ensures Eden Valley's trails are a joy to ride.
